“Pattern of Pieces”

This project was in collaboration with St. Vincent DuPaul. The prompt was to make a garment based on the theme “Better Together”. I was inspired by the art of mosaics and how each unique piece is placed together to become one beautiful artwork. As instructed, our garments had to be made from second-hand items at the thrift store. Vintage lace handkerchiefs inspired me to create this dress.
